Adrian Sharpe

North West, Vistage Chair

Adrian is a Group Chairman with 4 Vistage executive coaching groups built up over 8 years and centred in the North West.

His passion is caring for and developing his Vistage members by working with them sympathetically and enjoying the sheer diversity of business models and challenges that commerce and life throws at them.

Many of his members have embraced the fundamental that successful people development equals successful profit and sales improvement and within his Groups there are currently 4 of the Sunday Times top 100 companies

In addition to Vistage he has several non exec roles, is also involved with a London based finance house, conducts strategic management reviews for various companies and frequently works with a dynamic American Organizational Improvement business.

Prior to Vistage he was for 20 years CEO of Burtons Biscuits (Wagon Wheels, Jammie Dodgers, Cadbury Fingers etc) the second largest UK biscuit company .

His career encompasses a wide variety of industries ranging from British Leyland, Revlon cosmetics, Irish Dairy Board, Mars, Coventry Climax Fork Lift trucks and Diageo.

He was for 2 years President of the BCCCA – Biscuits, Cake, Chocolate and Confectionery Association – the UK’s second largest (after alcohol) Trade Association and with Burtons won The Queen’s Award for Export.

After caring and enjoying his family, he likes food and drink in the right company, and for fitness he goes mountain biking (at least he used to!) and golfing.
