David Briggs

Following a career in strategic development and business support planning built with the Manpower Services Commission and then Training and Enterprise Councils, David took on the role of Regional Co-ordinator supporting NW Business Link CEOs for 5 years. He then moved to higher education as Managing Director for a £3m university led incubation partnership. This was followed by a further 10 years in directorship roles advising senior university staff on large and small scale business engagement initiatives across the NW of England.

In 2011 David launched his own independent consultancy operation working with business, universities and government agencies developing new, multi million pound strategic partnerships. In the same period David trained as a personal coach building a portfolio of private clients.

David has a range of community interests that have included chairing a Scout Group, a thriving Village Hall and as a Trustee of a Children’s Literacy Charity. His personal landmark achievements include a privately published 300 page book researched from his grandfather’s letters from the trenches of WW1.
