Holding senior leadership positions in blue-chip, start-up and not-for-profit organisations has given me a deep insight into how companies at all levels work and what distinguishes the great from the merely good.

My entire career has been in sales and business development, from direct sales to running large teams. For me, nothing can beat direct interaction with customers, as this is where the magic happens.

In addition to leveraging my sales experience, a particular passion and interest is helping my members really understand their personal and organisational ‘why’ and then building and implementing robust strategies to deliver on both of these.

We have some great discussions in the group and members frequently receive some fairly direct and unvarnished feedback. The culture in the group is very much one of joint responsibility for holding each other to account and every one of us now expects to be pushed, challenged and stretched. I care deeply about my members and will do whatever I can to help them achieve their goals.

A Vistage group is all about developing members, both as individuals and as business leaders and I take my own personal development just as seriously. Having coached informally for years, I became an IFC accredited coach in 2014 and in 2015 completed a course in Transactional Analysis.

I am a huge sports fan and have a travel bucket list I am steadily working my way through. I can also spend a happy couple of hours reading or watching an episode of the latest American box set.
