Steve’s background encompasses 30 + years in the global media and entertainment sector, which includes 20 years in international leadership positions at companies including Disney, the BBC and two of Europe’s largest independent television production companies.

As a former President/CEO/MD Steve has a proven track record of turning around commercial businesses by building and leading high-performance teams and positioning them to deliver consistent long-term growth, all underpinned by a compelling strategy and vision. Key achievements include:

Doubled profits of BBC Worldwide’s global sales and distribution business (2007- 2013), contrary to the widely held belief that there was no future growth potential.

Drove 23% revenue CAGR for Disney’s Asia Pacific TV business (2002-2006) against backdrop of challenging macro-economic circumstances in the region.

Successfully restructured leading independent production company’s international business and positioned for long term growth.

Steve is a passionate team builder and mentor – his central tenet being that truly great teams are capable of achieving exceptional results. He is a certified executive coach, and has covered multiple sectors that include media, education, consulting, insurance and healthcare. He is also an experienced executive board director and NED, an accomplished mentor of SMEs and start-ups, advising on strategy and commercial issues.

Steve thrives on challenge, has a strategic outlook and is motivated by helping businesses and senior leaders achieve their full potential, whilst retaining a strong focus on growing the bottom line. He has conducted business in many corners of the world; including the UK, the US, China, India, Japan, South Korea, South East Asia, Australia/NZ, Central & Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, France and Brazil, and has experience of managing substantial networks of international offices spread across multiple time zones.

Steve lives with his family in London and is a keen skier and frustrated rock guitarist.
