Jan Lloyd

Jan has worked as a senior executive for over 20 years within the private, public and third sector.  During this time, she has had extensive experience of FMCG, manufacturing and logistics primarily in the food sector (Dairy Crest, Yoplait and New Covent Garden Market) as well as property management and development, public procurement and planning (New Covent Garden Market and Heritage Foundation).

She has worked on developing market leading brands, post-acquisition integration, outsourcing manufacturing, major capital and regeneration projects as well as improving stakeholder engagement and influencing within the public sector.

Jan has been recognised as a leader in every field she has entered with a proven ability to develop teams who deliver challenging objectives.

In her mid-fifties, Jan reached the view that it was time to focus on what has given her the most enjoyment in her career as MD and CEO and that was helping people be the best they can.  After eight years as a Vistage member she decided to make being a Vistage chair the heart of the portfolio stage of her professional life.    A core belief for Jan is that whilst successful businesses are built on good customer understanding, successful delivery comes from empowering employees.

Jan is married to Paul and they have two sons Alex and Ollie both keen sportsmen, one a County rugby player and the other the school’s A team goalie. Time spent on the touch line supporting the boys, or at Quins and Brentford where the family are season ticket holders or at Twickenham for the internationals, has shown Jan time and time again, how good leadership can deliver outstanding results

Jan has learnt over the years to seek the positive in people and situations, and to live in the moment, neither regretting what has gone or worrying about what is to come, and most of all to have a laugh – she takes business (and life) seriously but never solemnly.
