Paul Knee


Paul has worked in the corporate sector for over 35 years and has been a Director within both Private and Public sector organisations for the past 21 years. Paul has extensive experience within several UK business sectors including Office services (Xerox); Communications (Yale & Valor); Electronic / physical security (Group 4/ Tann Synchronome) and Medical devices (Verathon).

He has worked for/into two of the largest public sector bodies in the world (MOD / NHS) and has extensive knowledge of export particularly into the Middle East and lived/worked in India whilst with Group 4.

Paul retired in April 2012 to undertake a protégé scholarship with the Coaching Academy giving him the qualification to fulfill a long held desire to practice as an Executive and Small Business coach. Paul believes fervently in the innate ability within every individual to fulfill their wildest expectations through the development of their own ability. Paul is a highly competitive person who has achieved both academic success with an education degree from Bristol University and considerable sporting success by playing international rugby for England in late ‘70s and early ‘80s; continuing to play county and national veterans’ tennis and swimming to county veterans’ standard. Paul has been married to Eileen for 38 years and has a 28 year old son (Adam) a software engineer based in London and a 25 year old daughter (Heather) a local housing officer in Rugby.

Paul’s passions are family; watching live sport whenever possible; drinking red wine; eating great food from around the world; reading; music and playing as much tennis as possible and swimming every day. Paul believes in living every day to the maximum, taking every opportunity to learn, taking measured risks and having as much fun as possible to ensure he will have no regrets for any missed opportunities in his life and the lives of those around him.
