Emotionally Intelligent Leadership
A keynote is a speech or presentation that establishes the main underlying theme of a conference or event, usually to a large audience and lasting approximately 45 minutes. Lynn can adjust her keynote to be as short as 45 minutes or as long as 90 minutes.
Emotional intelligence is the capacity for recognising our own feelings and those of others, and for managing emotions in ourselves and in our relationships. Perhaps because academic qualifications and career experience are seen as tangible, to date they have been used as indicators of a person’s potential for success. Current research however clearly shows that emotional intelligence (EQ) is a significantly more accurate predictor of success than IQ, because it reflects how a person applies awareness to their immediate situation. This keynote will focus on the development of key EI realms. Lynn will highlight the key behaviours and the personal knowledge required by all leaders who wish to model high levels of emotional intelligence to their colleagues and to their customers. The keynote is also likely to have a positive spin off to help the development of great family relationships.
