Optimising Performance and Building Resilience

This workshop focuses on encouraging executives to manage the stresses of business life more effectively through becoming more resilient to the challenges that surface during every day corporate life.
A three to four hour workshop that will engage you in recognising and dealing with the stresses and strains of modern day executive life. The workshop will focus on a five step plan to deal with stress and build resilience.
The workshop contains a significant practical component enabling individuals to practice techniques with the use of a specialised monitoring device. The device tracks changes in heart rate variability and shows how effectively you relax and cope under pressure.
There will also be a practical business problem solving opportunity, using the approaches you have learned during the workshop during which you will explore other key wellbeing aspects that contribute to making a more “healthy” executive, these include:
- Mental wellbeing (harnessing pressure and mindfulness).
- Physical wellbeing (heart and body health, food and nutrition, alcohol and exercise).
- Lifestyle (sleep, travel and social connectedness).
Delivered by Dr Dorian Dugmore and John Sunderland Wright; wellness academy health care professionals, utilising EM wave heart math technology during the workshop, teaching people to relax under pressure. The Freeze Frame technique surrounding problem solving will also be addressed with executives working in “2s” to practice the technique.
By the end of the workshop each participants will be expected to write their own wellbeing mission statement with 5-6 key wellbeing goals to be shared and tracked with another group member.
