This workshop looks at the stages of business growth and how strategy needs to evolve and be articulated at each stage. The growth path is never smooth. Two chasms can always be predicted in advance. The bulk of the workshop discusses the best way of crossing the chasms. It will focus on how the business needs to be positioned in a distinctive and compelling way, by ensuring all employees know and understand its value proposition. The importance of words and their meaning will be emphasised. Time will be spent de-weaseling strategy statements and value propositions.
It is not a business planning session which would look at resourcing business expansion. It is at a higher level, holistic, and a session which should always precede a business planning exercise.
For a half day retreat this workshop would be tailored to the participants needs/organiser’s desired outcomes.
