Chair Bio

Rob Castle

Throughout his career, Rob has been passionate about supporting the success of others. With over 25 years’ experience as a Managing Director and many years as a Vistage member he now runs his own Vistage group.

An Engineering graduate with a technical sales and marketing background, Rob has worked at senior levels for UK manufacturers as well as US, German and Japanese corporations. He has been responsible for business turnarounds, from loss to significant profit, restructures, relocations, IT upgrades, closures and sales of divisions, and has overseen global product launches and global brand growth. Rob has also won numerous awards including “Global Distributor of the Year” and “Employer of the Year” during his time in retail, wholesale and manufacturing.

He has been a guest speaker at Henley Management College and Warwick Business School, served as President of his Industry Trade Association and is a Freeman of the City of London.

Rob has seen first-hand how Vistage can be applied with powerful results, having used his experience to drive restructures, refine the core business offer, improve strategic focus, staff engagement and team effectiveness, all of which has transformed and grown the business he led.

“I believe that good business leaders are a powerful force in society because, through them, many other people are employed in worthwhile and rewarding roles. Being a Vistage member has helped me to achieve my goals, which is why I am so excited to now be able to help others do the same.“
