Chris Burton

“It’s the challenge of unlocking the real potential for a business to grow profitably that lights my fire”.

Chris thrives on helping ambitious business owners to build-in the capability to attract, create and retain the most valuable customers who strongly recommend to others. He calls these customers Ambassadors. These ambassador customers typically create 8 times their own lifetime value through recommendation, unlocking the real potential in a business to grow and keep growing profitably.

Chris has grown businesses ranging from international corporates and family run businesses to a wide variety of start-up’s and small business, operating in a diverse range of markets from retail and consumer packaged goods to travel, commercial markets, construction and professional services. He has an extensive track record, spanning 25 years of driving commercial performance through directing, developing and implementing business, brand and marketing strategy and plans whilst engaging and inspiring people to deliver.

Chris has taken all the learning and developed a finely-tuned and proven framework, an approach to creating Ambassador Customers that enable any business to access its true potential, from start-up to international corporate.

Chris has been privileged to grow brands like; Andrex, Mr Muscle, Glade, Pledge, Toilet Duck, Upper Crust, Early Learning Centre and he has also created an international retail brand – Panopolis – a high end bakery cafe trading successfully in 12 countries.

In 2016, Chris worked with a group of entrepreneurs to prepare Hofmeister, the iconic lager brand, to be re-introduced into the UK market and win Best Lager in the World 2017-18.

Chris joined the Vistage Speaker Bureau in May 2018 from the Academy for Chief Executives.
