Speaker Bio

Chris Butterworth

Chris has been with S A Partners for eighteen years and prior to this had experience of operating at senior management positions in several multinational organisations such as Jaguar, JCB and Corus. Chris was the overall program director for the work described in the Shingo prize winning book “Staying Lean” and has spoken on Lean Thinking at many International Conferences. He has facilitated Lean Thinking workshops for executive management programs at a wide range of international business schools.

Chris coaches executive teams and transfers knowledge across all levels and sizes of organisations from multiple sectors including service, not for profit, retail and government. Chris is a certified Shingo Institute facilitator and examiner and winner of Best New Speaker of the Year Award 2014 (TEC- The Executive Connection) for his talk on Lean Thinking and has completed over fifty TEC/Vistage talks. In 2017 he co-authored the widely acclaimed book “4+1 – embedding a culture of continuous improvement”.

Chris splits his time between Australia and the UK.
