Energy not time is the key to high performance. Many business leaders work at such a furious pace that they aren’t listening to their real needs. Running mainly on adrenaline, their behaviour can create a culture of stress and burn out.
If leaders want to create an engaged workforce, they must begin by effectively managing their own energy. The concept of managing energy to increase performance was popularised by Tony Schwartz and Catherine McCarthy of The Energy Project in New York. However, physicists have been telling us for decades that the fundamental nature of all matter is energy. Although time is finite, the amount of personal energy we have at our disposal can be changed.
This session explores the four dimensions of human energy - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, and how to increase and balance them. To recharge, we need to identify the causes of low energy and find the will power to make changes – permanently. The most profound source of regeneration lies in our unconscious mind. Make changes within and the outer changes will happen naturally.
