Stephanie Fairhurst

Stephanie specialises in helping business professionals and companies improve performance and productivity, bringing about individual change in an organisational setting. She facilitates getting the best out of teams and individuals by helping them understand the human mind as a manageable machine and developing insight and emotional skills to improve performance through achieving greater happiness, success and confidence.

Stephanie’s career spanned marketing and business development in multinational organisations in manufacturing, professional services and IT, living and working in the UK, Europe, USA and South America before running her own companies in property development and construction. Her extensive international experience brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced in businesses large and small and provides the context in which she delivers her engaging workshops, speeches and one-to-one consultations.

Her deep interest and experience in different national and corporate cultures fuels her drive to help individuals realise their potential. Her areas of expertise are emotional mind management and coaching and mentoring.

Overview:

Our mind is a remarkable machine that is both our greatest asset and our biggest liability. How well do you understand the machine in your head and how effective are you in getting it to work optimally?

This workshop uses the Chimp Model from Professor Steve Peters’ book, The Chimp Paradox, to explain the neuroscientific basis for why you respond the way you do in any situation and demonstrates how your individual belief systems influence the way you think, feel and behave, not just as an individual, but collectively in companies and organisations. We investigate the effect of unhelpful beliefs and behaviours on your performance then work on identifying and removing these unhelpful beliefs at an individual level to improve results.

Through developing insight and skills, you will learn how to manage your machine effectively, and be the person you want to be, improving confidence, success and happiness in both your personal and professional life. This highly interactive session has useful exercises at a group and individual level ensuring everyone takes away a workbook full of practical information and plans that can be put into action straight away.
