Harry Marsland

North East

With a degree in chemistry, a successful career in marketing/advertising and a passion for coaching, I can offer a broad perspective on problem-solving.

My business career has encompassed the world’s largest advertising agency, McCann-Erickson (who created a new role for my talents), and the world’s smallest (my own, when I launched it!).

I have worked with around 100 companies, from Tesco to Virgin, BT to Ordnance Survey. But it isn’t just the biggies who interest me; I have worked successfully with dozens of SMEs, from frozen food companies to climbing wall builders, travel companies to commercial laundries.

I have launched new brands, opened new markets, re-structured old processes and broken new ground.

I have helped owners to exit and acquirers to integrate.

As a Growth Accelerator coach, I have challenged and guided numerous SMEs to exceed their aspirations.

Importantly for you, I don’t stop learning. In 2016 I graduated from Google’s Squared Online digital marketing leadership course.

I was presented with the Vistage New Chair of The Year award in 2016.

Although I am known as fun to work with, it’s no easy ride. I am a creative thinker with a scientific education; I question, challenge, generate ideas and want results.

Outside of work, I love the Lake District and the Isles of Scilly. I am a member of a unique sports club, visiting the Islands annually to play 23 different sports.
