Vistage 2024: a year in review
How has 2024 panned out for you and your business? What are you most proud of this year? What are you looking to change or improve as we head into 2025?
It’s been a busy year here at Vistage. From events to research and content creation to new members of the team, we’ve taken a look back at our 2024 highlights…
A whole host of events…
We’re always proud of our annual events calendar, and this year has been no different. In addition to our Executive Summits, we’ve hosted some incredible CEO Climb Events spanning a wide range of business-related topics – thanks to some amazing world-class speakers.
In January Carole Gaskell advised webinar attendees on how to reach their full potential, and in February, Baiju Solanki asked: what’s stopping you from making a game-changing impact?
In March, Rob Dixon advised on the best ways to harness the power of AI, while in April, César Gamio helped high-performing teams to build their resilience. The following month, those who attended Dr Tharaka Gunarathne’s Vistage session learned what it means to ‘live your life on purpose’ – and how to make this happen.
In June, Dave Hall showed us how to unleash the power of breakthrough thinking, while Pete Wilkinson gave a session on simplifying strategy execution to deliver better results. In the same month, those who joined Debra Lee for her webinar explored the concept of ‘future-ready leadership’ and the six key challenges leaders need to overcome to make this happen.
Jean Pousson furnished new board members with a ‘toolkit for executives’ in July, and in September, we learned from Ben Mekie why finance should be the beating heart of your business.
The final quarter of the year saw Marcus Child sharing how to increase your personal power and live at full capacity, David Abbott’s session on the psychology of pricing, and Celynn Morin comparing the world of Champagne to the workplace to end the year with a session on workplace wellbeing.

Compelling content…
Each year we publish our two stalwarts: our Economic Updates from Roger Martin-Fagg, and our quarterly Vistage CEO Confidence Index results (you can see the latest 2024 versions of each here and here, respectively).
Our annual content calendar also includes regular reports on a variety of business and leadership-related topics. This year, those topics included The 6 Habits of World-Class CEOs: a detailed foray into six habits which, if practised consistently, can turn a great leader into an excellent one.
Over on our blog you’ll find regular trend pieces, predictions and more. This year, those include talent trends SME leaders should be aware of, a look at what the Autumn Budget really means for SME employers, and, looking forward, our predicted SME trends for 2025.
Continued Vistage growth…
At Vistage we want to be able to continue to support as many members as possible. The answer isn’t to increase group sizes: we want every member of every group to know that they have the time and space to discuss their issues, challenges, ideas and more within their group setting.
Instead, the answer is to open more groups. For that to happen, we need more Vistage Chairs: accomplished business leaders who lead, facilitate and mentor their groups to success.
In the last few months of 2024 alone we’ve welcomed five new Vistage Chairs to the fold, all covering different locations across the UK. Meet those five Chairs (virtually!) here.
As we continue into 2025 we’d like to take this opportunity to wish a very happy New Year to all of our members and Chairs. If you’d be interested in taking on your very own Vistage group in 2025, we’d love to hear from you: find out more about the Vistage Chair role here.
